As part of a bulk water pipeline upgrade, Christopher Contracting removed a section of pipe in Brisbane's north to install a new valve and offtake designed to improve Seqwater's ability to isolate and change the direction of water flow. The project was part of the Sparkes Hill to Aspley Capacity Upgrade. It involved upgrading the capacity of bulk water infrastructure between Sparkes Hill Reservoirs (Stafford) and Aspley Reservoir to allow more water to supplement supply to Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast regions.
