Project Description
This project brief was to repair the existing 1200mm MSCL Main within a tidal creek and encase it in concrete to prevent future degradation. We first needed to construct a temporary creek crossing for machinery and equipment. Environmental controls were crucial to protect the waterway and the surrounding area was rehabilitated to prevent any further scouring. The importance of this trunk main in the supply of the regions water meant the Main had to stay in operation throughout the remediation work.
The design was a joint venture with Ganden.
