Project Description
Nerang/Broadbeach Road Water Main Upgrade project involved excavation, pipe laying and backfilling of 2km 600mm & 750mm DICL pipe. Traffic control on this job was a challenge as we had 1 lane closed on Nerang Broadbeach rd the entire length of the project.
Being a Mains Road controlled road restoration was a high priority as was safety having police onsite during night works.
Live connections to existing mains were completed under strict shut down time frames without incident.
